Was listening the the radio this morning...
958FM. ( Not that I wanna listen to Chinese oldies and Chinese news. It just that my dad only listen to this station. )

They invited someone big to share about how to be happy in life. And that person made a comment that I agree with.

Love make us happy. Many people seek love around us, in many ways or whatever ways. But we still dont get enough. The reason is not that is no love out there. But is more of we choose who to love, who we want to love. We reject love from people we dislike, we reject love when we get nothing out of it. And strangely, I realised myself doing that to God sometime.

"Beware of surrender that is motivated by personal benefits that may result. For example, "I’m going to give myself to God because I want to be delivered from sin, because I want to be made holy." Being delivered from sin and being made holy are the result of being right with God, but surrender resulting from this kind of thinking is certainly not the true nature of Christianity."

I pray God will removed this selfish thinking of me that I only seek the Love of God for my own selfish purposes. That I only choose to love Him only when I can see the benefits in my life and reject His love when there is none. I pray not only will I love Him with all I have. But also show the same love God did for me to people around me no matter who they are. Amen.
